Lab Unlimited are proud to announce that we have added BioConcept – Swiss Cell Culture media manufacturers, to our product portfolio. They seek to imitate nature as they provide optimal medium to support cell cultivation. BioConcept are a privately held company that strives to do the utmost to meet their customer’s demands. They were established in 1978 and have added multiple brands to its own portfolio such as the Amimed® brand.
BioConcept own powder and liquid media plants. They can produce liquid batch sizes from 5L to 5,000L with containers from 1ml – 500L and can also produce powder batch sizes from 1kg to 800kg with short lead times for bespoke medias. All plants are up to ISO 9001 standard and include an ISO 5 cleanroom. For reoccurring customers, standard stock can be held in Dublin for products that may be needed urgently.
Cell and Tissue Culture Line - Amimed®
The Amimed® brand is known as BioConcept’s cell and tissue culture product line. A broad range of special and standard classical media manufactured in Switzerland can be offered; giving the opportunity to create the optimum menu for cells. This Swiss production plant is excellently suited to producing cell culture media as well as manufacturing sterile QC liquids and microbial broths and agars.
