FAQ

I am using an ADM Agilent Flow Meter - now discontinued - to measure flow on my GC. Is the GF1000 kit the right choice for me?

Yes. The GF1000 kit is the perfect choice and suitable alternative to the ADM1000 Flow Meter from Agilent, when your measuring flow range is higher than 500mL/min.

My measuring flow range is higher than 700mL/min. Can I still use the GF1000 kit?

The GF1000 flow range in between 0.1 to 1000 mL/min. If you require a higher range, we can discuss your requirements to arrange a suitable alternative. My measuring flow range is lower than 500mL/min. Can I still use the GF1000 kit?

Yes, but if your are operating at such a lower range than the max for the GF1000, you should consider using the GF500 Flowmeter Kit, that as a flow range in between 0.1 to 500 mL/min.

What is included in the kit?

The kit includes a hard carrying case, spare tubing, tubing connector fittings, power supply with four interchangeable plugs (EU, UK, CH, USA).

What kind of detector adapters can I get with my kit?

The detector adapters are not included in the kit, however you can add them separately. There are five detectors adapters available for purchase: Split Vent, GC FID, GC TCD, GC NPD & GC ECD adapter.

What can I get my flow meter calibrated?

At LabUnlimited, we carry out the calibrations in our dedicated workshop in Dublin.
